In December 2003, Computer Sciences Corporation entered into an IT outsourcing agreement with SAS Group.

Under the terms of the contract, CSC provides IT consulting, systems integration, application development and maintenance, and IT infrastructure services for mission-critical SAS business needs, including booking and ticket reservation systems, ticket-free travel technologies, self-service check-in, flight maintenance and cargo control systems.

CSC in Germany has interviewed Ingvar Soderlund, CIO at SAS Group about their reasons for outsourcing their IT function to CSC. You can read the entire interview in the attached PDF file.
